Carl Svernlöv

Carl Svernlöv — listed as a highly recommended lawyer in several law
publications — practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate law
and corporate governance. He is an adjunct professor of the law of corporations
at Uppsala University and serves as the chairman of the Research Section on
Corporate and Securities Law of non-profit Stockholm Centre for Commercial Law.
In 2007, he was appointed by the Swedish Government to review and propose
changes to the Swedish Companies Act for small and medium-sized companies. Prof.
Svernlöv is the author of 12 books and over 100 articles on Swedish and
international business and commercial law. Prof. Svernlöv is a member of the
Firm's Europe M&A Practice Group Steering Committee, and serves as regional
knowledge partner to the Europe M&A Practice Group.
